Leadership is a fascinating journey, rich with life lessons and humbling experiences. One of my passions and strengths lies in collaborating with a team to identify each person's superpower and effectively leverage their talents. By building on an individual's strengths and aligning them with their growth journey, I am able to create exceptionally strong teams. The progression from a small local manufacturing company to a national entity with almost 400 locations has brought challenges leading to valuable lessons. Through continuous learning and growth, I've gained the ability to anticipate and proactively address issues, minimizing their impact on the business. Implementing processes for quick issue identification allows the team to find solutions promptly, preventing additional challenges or costs to the company. My career trajectory, from help desk roles to my current Senior Manager position, has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of various technology facets. While my primary focus has always been on networking and infrastructure, these areas remain enduring passions of mine. The hands-on approach and ability to understand and build new solutions, is a trait that I believe will never diminish. I find great satisfaction in troubleshooting issues and crafting solutions on the fly or strategically for a company's growth. Effectively communicating a vision for the future has consistently been a hallmark of my contributions to the companies I've served.Upon grasping the company's vision and needs, I can assess its current technology landscape and formulate a strategic path towards the future. Developing multi-year options to realize a vision is challenging, yet it's a task I've successfully undertaken multiple times.People often ask me about my career growth—whether I want to keep moving up in management/leadership positions or return to an individual contributor role. The answer is yes; I appreciate both sides of the world. My goal is to provide value to a company, be at a place that values my skills, enjoy work, spend time with my family, and contribute to making the world a better place simultaneously.
