I am a martial artist and health & wellness consultant. I specialise in the management of adrenaline-based emotions such as fear, anxiety, stress and anger for high-achieving professionals and executives.I offer a programme that is tailored to the individual to help them identify, understand, and ultimately channel the energy of destructive emotions into positive, tangible outcomes and achievements in both their private and professional lives. My techniques have been developed through over 30 years of experiential in situ training. They are designed to work holistically with the body, the mind and the emotions, to achieve clearly defined goals. My techniques are rooted in the understanding that the mind, the body and the emotions are interconnected, that you cannot overcome a physical reaction such as the fight/flight response through mindfulness alone, and all my therapies inclusively exercise all three of the "centres". These techniques have proven particularly successful with clients that work in high-pressured environments such as first responders, pilots, lawyers, executives, reporters, chefs, performers and anyone with a fear of public speaking.Over the last 40 years I have worked as a personal bodyguard, nightclub bouncer, martial arts teacher and self-defence consultant. I delivered self defence and fear transformation programmes for companies including Ernst & Young, Morgan Stanley, Italia Conti School of Performing Arts and Discovery Channel. I was a personal bodyguard for Sylvester Stallone, Elvis Costello and Pulp and fight choreographer for the Ali G show, The Prodigy, and The Divine Comedy.
