With a master's degree in Urban Design from UC Berkeley and being trained as an Architect in India, I bring an interdisciplinary perspective and skill set along with the experience of working across multiple scales. My lived experiences in India, Spain, and the US have exposed me to diverse cultures and how they influence people's relationships with outdoor space and design. I am passionate about climate resilience, social justice, and context-driven design focused on human experience. These sensibilities have informed my approach as an Urban Designer and Architect, and my interest lies in exploring these intersections between environmental, social, and cultural systems that shape our urban spaces. In my academic and professional pursuits, I have honed skills in data gathering and visualizing, design research, conceptual design and master planning, spatial growth analysis, and mapping. A systems thinking approach drives my work, and I am versed in strategizing, designing frameworks, zoning and entitlements, and real estate development. At UC Berkeley, I have engaged in projects like "Reimagining Emeryville's Waterfront," where I developed resilient design strategies, proposed innovative solutions for coastal inundation, and strategized ways to integrate fragmented urban networks.
