About Ramon Hernandez

Through the years of showing a passion for journalism, beginning back in high school, I took the opportunity to learn how to work with subjects and sources to tell compelling stories through the written, audio and visual medium. I actively enjoy contributing my creative skills and journalistic experience wherever I goI took my interest in learning about the German language and culture and took classes with the University of Tübingen in Tübingen, Germany and focused on understanding how the EU’s institutional power sets it apart, economically, socially and politically among global actors. During my last semester of university, I studied in Germany with the mission of strengthening my German communication skills and also to work on my thesis that analyzed Germany’s reaction to the refugee crisisPrimary focusing on my political studies in the latter of my undergraduate studies, local government has been a passion for me. By being committed to understanding and learning about social and political issues that impact my community, I feel the sense of urgency to lead in any capacity that I can. Understanding how institutions function among each other is something I’m always engaging in and a reason why I always love learning and exploring new career opportunities. I’m committed to bringing my educational background and Spanish speaking skills into any job to adapt and grow in my professional goalsDriven with a passion for storytelling through the medium of writing and video, I enjoy working towards my interest in photography and videography.
