My primary Focus is Organising and conducting Gender and HIV and AIDS training programmes for Government ministries, NGOs personnel, students and private companies on gender awareness and sensitisation workshops, seminars, training of trainer’s workshops (TOT), and Gender Mainstreaming workshops.I also foucus focusing on gender and HIV/AIDS Research, poverty issues, specifically in activities related to the study’s conceptualisation, fieldwork, data analysis, and report writing. I also Manage the administration of research projects and consultancies at the Program, its publications and the supervision of student interns. Furthermore, I lecture gender and HIV, and Local sustainable development courses at the University

The GTRP is an educational as well as research and training programme within the Multi-disciplinary Research Centre (MRC) at the University of Namibia. The MRC was established in 1993 with a view to enable UNAM to best serve the people of Namibia. The key mission of the MRC is to "promote, conduct, and coordinate research; to provide consultancy, advisory, and other services to the community; to foster, in collaboration with UNAM's Faculties, national and international NGOs, line Ministries and relevant other Centres, the transmission of the accumulated body of knowledge through teaching and research".The main objectives of the program are:- To develop and teach interdisciplinary and short courses on Gender and Development in UNAM curriculum and for relevant stakeholders.- To enable UNAM students to gain in-depth understanding and experience in gender and HIV and AIDS research through internships and fieldwork activities.- To provide postgraduate training for Namibian researchers and University staff and student, government officials, NGO staff members and individuals with demonstrated potential and commitment to gender analysis and HIV and AIDS research.- To develop linkages with national and international institutions involved in gender and HIV and AIDS related training, research and policy formulation.- To promote awareness of gender issues among the general public through improved dissemination of research findings.- To improve the teaching and research facilities of UNAM in order to support gender and HIV and AIDS research and training.- To improve the socio-economic and legal situation of women in Namibia.- To reinforce academic links and networking in Southern Africa and Globally.

Lecture courses on Contemporary Social Issues: Gender component, Local Sustainable Development and Conduct research and training workshops on social developmenatal issues, especially HIV and AIDS awareness, work place and prevention programmes.
