Marco resides between Firenze and London with his wife and two children. Obtained a degree in Political Science from “La Sapienza” University in Rome and took part in an international executive leadership programme organised by the London Imperial College Business School and the Columbia Business School, New York.For several years he was a business development consultant for leading companies in the TLC, ICT and energy sectors, and also acquired valuable experience in government and institutional relations.Then in 2005 he began a high-flying career in a major high technology industrial group, initially as head of institutional and government relations for the group’s transport sector. Two years later he was named Vice President of the group’s helicopter company, working alongside the CEO to establish international joint ventures and managing government relations and external communications.2011 saw him Senior Vice President of the entire group, with responsibilities covering communications and corporate image, including planning, coordination and development of communication tools as well as support for top company management in major international business development in countries including Australia, India, Poland, Russia, UAE, UK, and the USA.Starting in 2015, he was an investor and mentor for two startups in Italy, one is a high tech initiative focused on augmented reality, image recognition and machine learning with patented technology utilised in specialised applications for museums and art exhibits to profoundly enhance the visitor experience. The other is a business consultancy focused primarily on international development for aerospace and defence technology.Most recently was a Director directly reporting to the CEO of the leading Italian integrated facility management operator, serving a wide range of public and corporate customers.
