Passionate Explorationist with more than 35 years experience in grassroots mining exploration. I’ve been a claim staker, line cutter, dirt-bagger, prospector, drillers' helper, wire puller, placer miner, camp carpenter, extreme pad builder, program lead and project manager. I’ve drafted maps, authored assessment reports and sat around a hundred campfires after a hard day’s work, staring at the stars and enjoying every moment working in the bush. I love solving logistical problems and coordinating the activities of crews on multi-drill exploration programs.I’ve been privileged to search for base and precious metals in 10 countries and have supervised mineral exploration programs in BC, Yukon, NT, Nunavut, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Labrador, Alaska, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Mexico, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, and Argentina. My partners and I started Contour Exploration Services Ltd. to share our expertise on helicopter supported exploration programs, helping our clients safely meet project goals. I enjoy mentoring new workers, supporting their work in this rewarding industry.
