My graduate research focused on investigating novel methods to improve cancer immunotherapy and exploring the mechanisms that regulate T cell homeostasis. We demonstrated that utilizing two T cell subsets for adoptive cell transfer for cancer immunotherapy was more potent at inhibiting melanoma tumor growth compared to either T cell subset alone. Investigated the regulation of chemokine CCL2 in breast cancer bone metastasis by examining the osteoblast-tumor microenvironment and the relationship between osteoblasts and breast carcinoma cells.
