•Responsible for the month and year end-close for 4 legal entities (> €200M turnover) and for reporting/analyses of 6 entities (Benelux) •Final responsibility for the financial planning process within the different business units (Benelux) •Final responsibility for the accounting tasks performed by the European Shared Service Centre•To give instructions and coordinate a team responsible for the Financial planning, preparing of the budget, monthly closing,…•Direct contact with auditors and tax authorities, preparing and discuss the agreements with the ruling commission •As member of the board of directors: assist the business leaders for financial matters, financial analysis support and the tracing of financial parameters, preparing analysis for business management•Implement and follow up of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX, Benelux), policies (e.a. credit policy, GSM policy,…), compliance, tax and statutory reporting.•Implementation of different projects (SAP-R/3), ENS (web-based system for expense notes, ...) for the different Benelux entities

•Responsible for the Financial planning process (Budget, projections year to date, SOF 5 year plan, monthly closing…) within different business units in Benelux •Responsible for the financial part of the budget discussions close involved in the preparation of the action plans •Analysis of expenses, turnover and advice business leaders

•Daily follow up and cash booking •Telephonic contact with customers, precise follow up of outstanding customer accounts in Belgium, The Netherlands, Eastern Europe; Middle East and Africa (EMA)

Responsible for cash booking for Belgium and Luxembourg, preparing new credit cards
