How am I anything else but who I am?But think about your life…We have all been conditioned since birth.By our-Parents-Environment-School-Media-Friends-ReligionAs children we have little to no control over any of that.Yet they all shaped and molded us.In order to live authentically you have to separate the conditioning from your truth. You have to align your values, thoughts, and actions.I’m on my journey to becoming the most authentic version of myself. I spent the vast majority of my life moving from place to place with no real thought or intentionality behind it.I made a series of choices over the last two decades never really asking myself what I wanted to do:-College: to keep playing baseball-Major: I didn’t know but business sounded good-First job: No idea what I wanted to do but I took a class on portfolio management and enjoyed it-Second job: Only job offer I could get outside of being a financial advisor-Third job: thought everything had finally aligned.. but 11 months later quit for the first time without having another job lined up-Started selling health insurance to make some money until I figured out what I wanted to doAlmost a decade later…-Personally issued over $4 million in health insurance premiums.-Built sales teams that have issued over $35 million in team production.-Promoted leaders.-Helped agents grow multiple six figure residual incomes.-Earned over $2 million. There's been fulfilling times in my career in health insurance.-Purpose -Growth-SuccessThere's periods of uncertainty. Earlier this year, I finally asked myself….What's important to me, what do I actually want, what do I believe in…I didn’t have a solid answer.So I started on a journey of internal reflection.My journey towards authenticity started with understanding and embracing my core values.Once I understood those, it was easy to make decisions that aligned with them. I used my values to help lead me on the path that would be most fulfilling.
