Researcher and Research Supervisor in Greer Labs and full-time student at Frederik Meijer Honors College at GVSU. I am pursuing a continued education and career in Botany/Plant biology. My current research surrounds creating a methodological approach for assessing tree geometry non-destructively, and using this to compare structural and functional differences between species. I am also now supervising the other students joining the lab, and guiding them as they begin their own journeys and begin new projects.Following graduation, I will continue shifting my educational programs and courses to be able to pursue a Master's and PhD in Botany. With these credentials, I will be able to continue researching how environmental factors impact gene expressions and the functional structures in plant species.
