A desire to see the world in its best form has fueled my aspiration to pursue a career in Mechanical Engineering. Bookended by passions for efficient leadership through effective communication and quality relationships, in addition to utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, I hope to find opportunities to exemplify these traits within the engineering field. My collegiate leadership experience has not only provided me with the soft skills necessary to communicate effectively, both individually and as a team, but it has also given me the resources to develop and equip future leaders as well. As I begin to understand the big-picture impact engineers have on the world, I've also begun to see the impact individuals have on individuals, whether through engineering or elsewhere. This has given me a genuine desire to treat the problem solving, forward thinking, and innovation necessary in engineering as I would people—with attention to detail, perseverance, and a strong commitment to improving the lives of others.
