First assist in OR and IR brain and spine procedures, manage inpatient neurosurgical patients, see new consults in the ED and hospital floor, perform bedside procedures such as lumbar puncture & drain placement/removal.

Per diem position to work alongside attending physicians to medically manage patients on the general medical floor and inpatient psychiatric unit. Duties include admissions, discharges, establishing follow up ambulatory care, daily rounds and placing appropriate consults.

First Assist to the Neurosurgeon in the operating room for various brain and spine procedures. Additional duties include taking first call, evaluating emergency room consults, rounding on hospital patients, and treating patients in the outpatient clinic.

Worked to rehabilitate patients recovering from MI, HTN, Diabetes, and other cardiac conditions and post-operative procedures. Duties included exercise oversight and prescription, dietary counseling, and EKG monitoring and interpretation.
