I recently graduated from Lees-McRae College with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis on accounting and finance. While at Lees-McRae College I was a member of the Men's Swimming team where I have been a captain for two years and been awarded two Catspy awards. Additionally, I was on the Dean’s list every year I attended Lees-McRae College. As for work experience, I have done minor accounting for my Grandparent's store, including some Excel and QuickBooks work. While I worked for my Grandparents I also worked three summers as a pool attendant at The Virginian Golf Club. After my time at The Virginian Golf Club, I worked one summer for First Bank and Trust Company as a summer intern. While working for First Bank and Trust, I completed a multi-departmental archiving project for them. I also assisted in the documentation and verification of collateral information. Additionally, I have worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as a Financial Management Scholar. During my time in this position, I assisted on multiple DCP (Depositor and Consumer Protection) bank examinations. During those examinations, I completed reviews of insurance policies, deposit disclosures, TRID compliance, ECOA compliance, and HMDA compliance.I am currently a Commercial Relationship Banker at First Bank & Trust Company in Abingdon, Virginia. At this position I am focused on assisting our commercial customers and lenders.
