About Robyn Cooper
Do you remember wondering as a child what you wanted to do when you grew up? I do. I was always going to be a lawyer. That was the plan, at least up until my early-20s. Then one day I woke up and realised that as much as I loved law, it just didn’t provide me the right opportunities to be myself on a daily basis. And so, it was time to make a switch. The only problem? I had no idea what to do after coming to this realisation. Naturally, when one is clueless, the first place to start is by going back to school. At Ryerson I found a passion for marketing and from there, found my way into sales. With sales I finally found my calling! Selling today is NOTHING like selling in ages past. Modern sales is all about understanding how a business operates, how they make money and how IT can transform productivity. It’s exciting, it’s challenging and it’s rewarding…but most importantly I get to come into work each and every day and be my authentic self. When I’m not talking tech, you’ll find me sailing on the lake, running around on a squash court or just kicking back with close friends and a few drinks.
