I educated and emotionally supported people affected by diabetes by responding to multichannel requests (1-800-BANTING, emails, etc.) in accordance with appropriate policies and procedures. Additionally, I provided accurate information for persons with diabetes and assisted with navigation of health services and systems across Canada. I stayed on top of the new developments (funded research, programs, services, products), internally and externally that impact and help people affected by diabetes. Lastly, I provided support to stakeholders including health-care professionals, volunteers, donors, government and policy makers, camp families, etc.

Go Ahead Tours, a division of EF Education First; as an Account Manager for 100+ groups, I foster and nurture long-term relationships with Group Coordinators as they work to bring their communities together to learn and travel as a group. My main role is to ensure that all groups are supported and prepared from booking to departure, for their educational travel experience. On a daily basis I collaborate with my team member and multiple EF departments to meet the specific requests and needs of each account.

I led virtual New Hire Training of classes ranging from 5 to 25 employees via Zoom; facilitating train sessions for employees all across Canada. The roles involved daily evaluating, editing and updating training material to provide to and educate current and new employees on various content within their role

As a Client Care Representative at Morneau Shepell, I am the first point of contact for crisis line support in conjunction with Employee Family Assistance Program. I conduct risk assessment to establish urgency level for support and crisis intervention under high pressure and potentially high risk situations such as domestic violence, self-harm, suicide, child abuse, sexual assault, gun violence, workplace violence etc. Additionally, I provide a needs assessment in order to recommend appropriate support resource(s) as per client needs. This role involves constant active listening and empathy in order to support clients no matter their needs.

As a full-time server at The Beachers Cafe restaurant I provided high quality customer service.The skills I gained from this experience were, patience, quality communication, use of positive language, effective time management and strong ability to recognize and interpret needs of patrons.

As a team member at Bluffs Performance I supervised 10 to 30 children daily, ages ranging from 8 to 16 years old. I promoted health literacy, community engagement and development of environmental awareness. I was in charge pf program planning, executing, managing and supervising workouts and outdoor activities. I Instructed and demonstrated skills and techniques for paddle boarding, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and soccer.

As a barista at Starbucks for many years I learned and became skilled at handling high volume and high pressure situations. While also making an effort to create meaningful connections with the customers.
