About Alex Cooper
I raise more money for more mission work. How? Being pro-donor. I help craft narratives that donors can write themselves into, then amplify those narratives: cultivating the joy of giving! My “Why”? Connect to find out! That’s not a platitude either – it’s the fundamental strategy. I’ve spent a decade developing and refining my competence and confidence in the 4 key areas of the virtuous cycle of fundraising: Knowing my mission/donors, unapologetically asking for money, thanking donors appropriately, and reporting on impact. [and yes, all that that entails from strategy to executional excellence] All audiences, all channels, all tactics. With vertical and horizontal integration across business units.A hands-on practitioner/end-to-end marketer, with a self-starter, systems-thinking pragmatism. I’m passionate about cross-functional collaboration, deep work, and integrated strategic execution to supersede development goals. To date, I’ve worked on projects raising over $650,000,000.
Listed skills include Fundraising, Marketing Communications, Event Planning, Volunteer Management, and 23 others.
