Consisting of five different industry-specific and special interest categories, THINC™ helps to promote organizations through easy-to-maintain, co-branded blogs and print/digital newsletters.

Directed inbound/outbound marketing activities and go-to-market strategies. Established rigorous media relations strategy for the company’s Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) resulting in local and trade media coverage as well as coverage on Public Broadcasting (PBS), and Court TV. Directed development of new website, and implemented online and traditional advertising initiatives. Created new brand identity including logo and product/service designations. Cultivated strategic alliances in a variety of markets including manufacturing, legal, scientific, engineering and governmental markets. Established/cultivated marketing support for community outreach programs that promoted the company’s core service, microscopy, to college and middle school students.

Provided counsel to the executive team regarding strategic alliances and opportunities. Cultivated strategic business alliances, distance learning initiatives and opportunities in support of the company’s marketing and sales units with emphasis on Media, Financial Services, Energy, and Government verticals. Activities included: Establishing and maintaining relationships with legislative and corporate leaders, coordinating relevant special events initiatives, and facilitating high-level discussions with key decision-makers.

Served as the owner/operator of a creative consultancy focused on Advertising, Branding, Public Relations and Diversity Communications. Developed, implemented, and managed public relations, marketing, and multimedia advertising campaigns for various clients with emphasis in transportation, economic development, community relations and diversity communications. Transportation Clients included: The Florence Regional Airport (SC), USAir Express, ASA Airlines, and the North Carolina/ South Carolina Light Rail Committee. Services were also provided to Wachovia, Hardees, Belk, Carmike Cinemas, The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee (Eastern SC region), Pee Dee State/Centura Bank, and The African American Women’s Conference Inc. Provided strategic relations, counsel, and support relative to various political and governmental interests in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.

Served as a Special Project Consultant through the Cooper Group which was commissioned by Scientific Atlanta to assist with 1996 Olympics outreach projects. Created and implemented collegiate recruitment campaign, media promotions, and related efforts supporting the launch of The SCARLET Video Network during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. The network was utilized by Olympic dignitaries, and was developed by Scientific Atlanta and their Olympic Partners: BellSouth and Panasonic. Coordinated post-Olympic marketing to promote the success of the company’s collegiate recruitment program.

Directed all inbound and outbound marketing activities reporting directly to the General Manager. Served as Voice Over/On-Air Talent and maintained oversight of all on-air promotions, community outreach activities and public service initiatives. Responsible for Daily block of animated programming as well as initiatives to promote FOX prime-time programming. Directed the station’s governmental (FCC), cable and network relations and developed community-oriented programming, promotions, and policies regarding charitable giving.

The University Community Development Corporation (UCDC) is a not-for-profit, community-based corporation Provided planning, promotional, and strategic support for the organization, which cultivates economic development for the community of more than 15,000 residents in the areas adjacent to the historic Atlanta University Center (AUC).

Created/produced various entertainment, sports and news programs for the college television station which broadcast to the Metro Atlanta area. Created/Produced and Hosted long running local Late Night talk show, Atlanta at Night for 4 seasons.Developed programming guide and other promotional materials for the station. Served as voice over and on-air talent for both TV and radio stations.Hosted live broadcast of the National Academic Convocation for Nelson Mandela upon his historic release/first visit to America.
