Whether I’m pushing young basketball campers beyond their perceived limits, rowing alongside teammates in college, or showcasing the community at the University of Oregon, I constantly blur the line between my work and my play.I’ve developed a profound appreciation for the process that leads to success. When I reflect on my time as a member of the crew team, it’s not the medal that stands out most. Instead, I think of the early mornings on the water, the grueling two-a-day practices during spring break, and the camaraderie that formed through shared effort and sacrifice. I’ve grown deeply passionate about the hard work and dedication required to succeed. For me, the journey—the perseverance, discipline, and learning along the way—is more meaningful than the final outcome.My passion for human connection inspired me to become a student ambassador at the University of Oregon. I was the catalysts for guests to envision themselves as part of the community I’ve come to love, learning about their goals and passions. Leveraging these connections, I painted a vivid picture of what thriving at the University could look like for them. Nothing was more rewarding than hearing from a student that my tour had a significant impact on their decision to attend.At Oregon, I built a strong academic foundation in business, data, and analytics, while using my college years to explore new opportunities and push myself out of my comfort zone. Whether pursuing a legal studies minor or joining the rowing team despite no prior experience, the people around me helped me grow. When campus life became too familiar, I seized the chance to study abroad in London, fulfilling a lifelong dream of living in a major city. This experience not only pushed me to adapt but also showed me I could thrive in new environments.Through it all, I’ve learned that enthusiasm, passion, hard work, and meaningful connections are the key to blending work and play—so seamlessly that even I can’t tell where one ends and the other begins.
