Conducted a data protection assessment and coauthored a strategy document to address assessment findings. Migrated from Symantec data loss prevention (DLP) to Microsoft Purview DLP and enhanced its capabilities. Improved labeling practices using technical solutions in Purview Information Protection. Configured and monitored Purview Insider Risk Management. Leveraged Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA- formerly MCAS) to provide governance and insight into SaaS applications. Created reporting and continuous improvement processes for the Purview suite. These initiatives helped the organization meet compliance and security posture goals and reduce risk.Global Retailer-Data protection implementation and resident engineer. Supported the deployment of Microsoft Purview Information Protection to over 20,000 users. Advised on best practices for Purview suite of tools, including DLP, MDCA, Information Protection Scanner, Content/Activity Explorer, Insider Risk Management, and Privacy Risk Management. Developed Powershell and KQL statements to automate tasks and gain valuable insight into the customer’s environment. Global Manufacturing Group-Active Directory remediation and modernization. Gathered data on application authentication by interviewing hundreds of stakeholders across the organization. Developed Powershell scripts to report on domain controller health and replication status.
