Prepared subpoenas and other court documents, interviewed witnesses and victims, assisted prosecutors in preparing for felony trials, legal research and writing, prepared probation revocation hearings, drafted grand jury summaries, made presentations to the grand jury for indictment, and questioned witnesses in trial. In my experience in the Prosecution Clinic, I was able to gain practical experience through touring the crime lab, adult & juvenile correctional facilities, the medical examiner's office, and many other components of our criminal justice system.

Conducted investigations, made decisions about compensability, evaluated losses, established accurate loss estimates, negotiated settlements with claimants and attorneys, managed medical to full duty return to work for injured employees. Established action plans based on case facts, best practices, protocols, jurisdictional issues and available resources. Proactively provided updates on progress to the customers.

Assisted customers in finding a vehicle, turned them to the business office, and then followed up to assure complete satisfaction. Required extensive knowledge in many makes/models of vehicles.
