With close to 30 years of computer experience including, owning three different computer based companies, I have progress into the Law Enforcement Computer/Mobile Phone Forensics field. Over the past seven years, I have received some of the best training, networked with the best experts in the world, liaised with outstanding vendors in our business, provided/received opinions and expertise with other members of our community and researched and studied the topic of computer/mobile phone forensics extensively to accomplish my goal of being an expert in the computer and mobile forensics field.My passion is the Mobile Forensics field and after extensive training and research, I have now begun instructing other Police Officers in JTAG processes; Chipoff processing and reading; basic first responder techniques; flasher box acquisition techniques and data decoding; and general mobile phone forensics topics including software, hardware and processes used to gather evidence from mobile devices. To date, I have had the privilege in teaching Law Enforcement from Japan, Italy, USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Australia.For the past year I have continue my Research and Development in advanced mobile phone data recovery, specifically physical and RAW data acquisitions and decoding using the Chipoff Process, Flasher Boxes and most recently, the JTAG process.Specialties: Physical and RAW user data acquisitions from Mobile devices using Flasher Boxes, JTAG and Chipoff processes.Retired Detective Bob Elder was honored with the 2013 IACP August Vollmer Excellence in Forensic Science Award at the the 2013 International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference, Philadelphia, PA October 19th, 2013.
