Maintaining an atmosphere of integrity and progressive workplace practices that apply across an artist management roster and staff alike, Jay Rogovin, Alec Donkin and Jade Gaines, formerly of C3 Management, and Blake Coppelson of Proximity have joined forces alongside community service providers from 4 o’clock Consulting (DanceSafe & Good Night Out) to innovate the traditional conception of artist management, coining their new brainchild Kompass Music Group. KMG is a new artist management company with a plan to re-imagine what it means to provide artist management and participate in the cultivation of a healthier music industry. With core values that address current dialogues such as risk reduction, sexual violence, mental health, diversity & inclusion, and the environment, Kompass aims to shift the norms in music both on and off the stage. Digital Mirage was created by Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade as a result of the lockdowns that took place in March of 2020. From conception to execution, the quick 2.5 weeks resulted in the first ever 3 day online music festival with over 50 artists, including: Kaskade, Gryffin, Oliver Heldens, Louis The Child, Alison Wonderland, and many more. Over the course of the two Digital Mirage events thus far, we have raised over 375,000 dollars in donations to help musicians affected by COVID-19 as well as supporting Equal Justice Initiative.Digital Mirage events have each generated over 2M attendees, 10M+ impressions, and millions of views of VOD content. Continuing to be one of the flagship events of the virtual festival scene, rivaling the Tomorrowland and Insomniacs of the world.
