I was the first person in the history of my college to receive a 4.0 GPA, and was given the Broadcaster of the Year award, a Hannaford Brothers and Maine Association of Broadcasters scholarships.While attending school, I tutored my fellow students in a variety of tasks...editing, radio station procedure, voice and diction. I was asked by the president of the school to teach a special 6 week seminar in Audio Engineering for Broadcast to 4 Saudi Arabian Television executives. It was very successful! I worked at WTOS-FM, one of the most popular classic rock stations in Maine, weekend overnights, and at WZON-AM, Maine Talk Radio, as Production Manager. Head copywriter and mid-day on-air talent.I have excellent English grammar and writing skills, can multitask efficiently, and my verbal communications skills are also second to none.
