I graduated high school with a certificate of bilingualism. I am completely bilingual in French and English. I completed a four year Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at Algoma University with a specialization in History and English and a minor in Anishinaabe Studies. During my time at Algoma University, I applied for and was given the opportunity to participate in a Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) experience in which I completed the course ANII3907: “Ceremonial and Artistic Expressions in the Guatemalan Highlands” abroad in Guatemala in February 2023. I am now a student at Laurentian University where I am completing my B.Ed. Online via their hybride model of the program, which has allowed me to stay in Sault Ste. Marie for work purposes. I have been working as a substitute teacher and educational assistant for the Conseil Scolaire Catholique Nouvelon (CSCNO) since September of 2019. Furthermore, as for past work experience, I was previously employed by the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club, where I worked for seven years. / J'ai obtenu mon diplôme d'études secondaires avec un certificat de bilinguisme. Je suis complètement bilingue en français et en anglais. Depuis ce temps, j’ai complété un baccalauréat spécialisé de quatre ans à l'Université Algoma avec une spécialisation en histoire et en anglais et une mineure en études anishinaabes (Anishinaabe Studies). Pendant mon séjour à l'Université Algoma, j'ai eu l'opportunité de participer à une expérience Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) dans laquelle j'ai suivi le cours ANII3907: «Ceremonial and Artistic Expressions in the Guatemalan Highlands» au Guatemala en février 2023. Je suis maintenant étudiante à l'Université Laurentienne où je termine mon Baccalauréat en éducation en ligne via leur modèle hybride du programme, ce qui m'a permis de rester à Sault Ste. Marie pendant mes études. Depuis septembre 2019, je travaille comme enseignante suppléante et éducatrice suppléante pour le Conseil Scolaire Catholique Nouvelon (CSCNO). De plus, en ce qui concerne l'expérience de travail antérieure, j'étais auparavant employé par le club de hockey Soo Greyhounds, où j'ai travaillé pendant sept ans.
