Semi-retired, I still do occasional custom pet portraits or "Junkyard Dogs" - dog paintings on purses, wallets, wooden objects or other thrift store finds!

SoHo Arts was a fine arts program, business, and store owned and operated by adult artists with disabilities. The artists competed and won awards at the national level. As director, I successfully wrote grants that enabled the artists to purchase a storefront and professional reproduction equipment. Funded also by Arts Council grants, SoHo artists hosted and participated in community art projects featuring professional puppetry and percussion artists. Artists' work was reproduced on notecards, t-shirts and other items and sold in their store. SoHo gallery was an ongoing display venue for the local arts community.
