In collaboration with the primary investigator Dr. Terence Keel, directs laboratory in a community-engaged research project which analyzes deaths in police custody in the US. Leads teams of researchers in obtaining, reading, coding, and analyzing investigative reports of deaths in police custody to determine unusual circumstances contributing to deaths. Collaborates with community activists of the Movement for Black Lives, family members of decedents, and Dignity and Power Now Los Angeles among other community groups to facilitate a goal of social justice in death investigation.

Research assistant under Dr. Martie Haselton in an Evolutionary and Social Psychology lab focused on issues of sex, sexuality, and gender identity. Working directly with graduate students to aid in various stages of multiple research projects. Recently completed a complex data visualization project for an upcoming presentation. Currently developing a self-led research project.

Trained and oversaw Peer Learning Facilitators in UCLA Academics and Student Services. Led student-centered education sessions for athletes at UCLA. Guided students of varying educational experience in developing skills of writing and self-sufficient learning. Prepared and executed thoughtful and creative lesson plans to provide continuous educational support to student-athletes.

Member of undergraduate student leadership team operating a student-run, mobile, streetside clinic serving the homeless population of West Hollywood and Santa Monica. Co-leads a team of six undergraduates in writing, defending, and submitting grant proposals to fund the organization’s operations. Aids in major decision-making for the operations and funding of the nonprofit community health organization as part of the leadership team. Interviewed and selected a cohort of 55 undergraduates to become the caseworking class for the organization.
