Working with Vermont residents to carve out their own path to high school graduation by creating a Personalized Graduation Plan that meets state graduation requirements as well as student goals through traditional and non traditional course work.

-Oversees five residence halls-Supervises a staff of 16 community advisors-Directs the themed housing across campus (Honors, Wellness, and Service)-Serves as a conduct officer-Supports the campus as an on-call staff member for emergencies-Aids students in becoming acclimated to campus life and encourages them to become engaged in campus culture-Assists in the recruitment, selection, and training of community advisors-Assists in the development and implementation of Residence Life staff trainings-Oversees the Social Media committee, comprised of community advisors, who help market for the department of Residential Life

-Served as point person for the Living/Learning Center Admitted Student Visit Days at the University of Vermont-Planned and executed Admitted Student Visit Days for the Living/Learning Center at the University of Vermont-Trained Student Program Directors on how to be effective tour guides for prospective students-Answered questions for prospective students and families during Admitted Student Visit Days about the Living/Learning center and Residential Learning Communities at the University of Vermont-Planned events for the Living/Learning Center, such as the Program Fair, Ice Cream Social, End of the Year celebration, etc.-Assisted in daily office tasks

-Mentored other resident assistants-Acted as a liason between the professional staff and the resident assistants-Served as a member of the Resident Assistant Council-Served as the ResLife Hall Council Liason-Led staff meetings-Served on duty, including holding the duty phone, to ensure the safety of the residents-Planned and executed educational and social programming within the residence halls-Acted as a referral agent to connect residents with campus resources-Supported students throughout their transition and acclimation to UVM culture-Helped students find ways to become engaged with the UVM experience

-Directed a Living Learning Program, Cakes with a Cause, 12 students-Ran weekly meetings-Managed a budget-Utilized a SharePoint site to keep track of goals and events-Supported students living in the program with every day needs-Planned and executed various events (fundraisers, competitions, cultural events, etc.)-Delegated tasks to program members-Utilized social media for program marketing-Developed relationships with campus and Burlington area community partners

-Led three orientation groups of up to 20 students each from the College of Education and Social Services, including icebreakers, teambuilders, and session debriefs-Helped students become engaged with the UVM experience-Assisted students with the registration process-Observed and evaluated faculty and staff info sessions-Attended family socials and sessions to answer any questions parents and families might have -Planned and staffed the Block Party, a multifaceted event aimed at giving all types of students fun activities to do during their night on campus-Provided informational bus tours to students, parents, and families-Helped students feel acclimated and prepared for their first year at UVM.
