I use my passion for journalism to give different perspectives on the world I live in using various mediums. Using my empathy, I can always put myself into someone's shoes, providing the necessary humanity in the stories I produce. With my time at the Columbia Missourian, I've gotten used to shooting on Nikon Z series cameras in various feature and sports assignments, I've produced a micro-documentary which is the most viewed on the Missourian Facebook (recorded with Sony FX5 and iPhone 12) at over 11K views. I want to pursue visual journalism (photo, audio, video) and digital content producing and creation. I care very deeply about human, character driven stories and not just a clickbaity headline. I am a Mizzou Made, Latine, LGBTQ+ journalist and I strive to offer diversity, inclusion, and equity in my work for everyone.
