I'm a freelance writer specializing in arts and culture. I love interviewing people, learning about their passions, and helping them tell their stories.When I co-owned a loose leaf tea shop, my freelance writing focused on tea and business related articles. My work has appeared in the national publications Tea and Fresh Cup. My training as a tea consultant has lead me to appreciate wines, bourbons, and other specialty beverages and hold my own at tasting events, such as the Macallan Rare Cask brand launch this summer.In addition to writing for magazines, I also draft press releases, newsletters, and posts for blogs and social media for businesses and artists, as well as edit and proofread copy and manuscripts for clients.I also write essays and fiction and love performing them at reading events.
