Principal advisor to the commander on all issues related to the enlisted force; and exercises general supervision over assigned enlisted personnel. Advises the commander on a wide range of topics including the health, esprit de corps, discipline, mentoring, well being, career progression, professional development, and recognition of all assigned enlisted members. Assists the commander in preparation and execution of unit training and information programs (e.g. commander's call). Attends command level leadership staff meetings. Represents the commander at base meetings and councils, and when conducting tours through unit areas.

Niagara Falls Air Force Reserve Station

The Niagara Falls Rising VI Council is a non-profit organization developed to represent the 800+ junior enlisted service members at the Niagara Falls Air Force Reserve Station. Our mission is to provide continued force and professional development, assist in the creation and orchestration of extracurricular and recreational activities, and serve as a liaison to the command for the junior ranking enlisted members at large.

Starting as a volunteer teller, I soon was hired onto the staff and began learning and applying my education in Business Financial Services. Duties included daily transactions, overseeing a group of 4-6 tellers during evening shifts, data input, generating revenue and new business, and numerous other tasks.
