A consortium of business and industry leaders along the Gulf Coast, CGIA is committed to improving industry performance and promoting best practices in the areas of safety, workforce development, quality, and productivity. We are aggressively engaged in the creation of new programs that advance, improve and grow the workforce. With your help, we will play a major role in upgrading the skills of the existing workforce and in recruiting and developing a new generation of industrial and craft professionals.CGIA is focused on adding value to our members’ business as a go-to resource for best practice information, a promoter of creative solutions to labor imbalances, a collaborator for workforce development issues, and a voice to both business owners and contractors.

Term: January 2023-January 2025Since 1913, the Bay County Chamber of Commerce has served businesses in Callaway, Lynn Haven, Mexico Beach, Panama City, Panama City Beach, Parker, Springfield and unincorporated Bay County. The Chamber works to promote the industrial and economic growth of the region, while partnering with, and supporting, local military installations. Through extensive relationships, the Chamber works to create a healthy environment in which businesses can grow and prosper.

The mission of the Honorary Commanders Program is twofold; one, to educate key community leaders about a unit’s mission and to foster a supportive relationship with the community, increase military involvement in civic endeavors and organizations and make members of the local community feel part of the unit.
