Senior design project through Wichita State University.Research and development was the main priority. I developed an API that allowed end-users to query for their data that resided on our server. I chose to use GraphQL for this feature, so it would make use of it easier for future students (client side). The API uses basic authentication with an API key to limit requests to authorized individuals. I developed macro scripts to help our team control our database cluster. One of the scripts was a daily backup that took a snapshot of our cluster, moved the snapshot to a different drive and compressed the heavy file. Also, I created a script that would help keep the database clean for future students. Our errors were logged into a specific table, which build up very quickly, so I created a script that extracts and archives these records after 60 days of being in the table.
