Cary Corbin is a media relations specialist with vast experience in local, state and national news outlets. For over 25 years, she has communicated daily with key media people in preparing print, broadcast and social media stories about leading companies in San Antonio, Texas and across the United States. She worked with Dublin-McCarter & Associates for more than nine years as director of media relations. When the theme park Fiesta Texas (now Six Flags Fiesta Texas) opened, Corbin coordinated coverage resulting in exposure in more than 1,000 media outlets. After a gunman opened fire in a Luby’s Cafeteria, she implemented a crisis plan and worked with company representatives in the aftermath of what became known as the Killeen massacre. Corbin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from Southwest Texas State University. Anheuser-Busch in Houston selected her to be its College Marketing Representative in 1982. In 1985, she was hired as Promotions Director for an Austin radio station. She joined Rosenberg & Co. Advertising in Dallas in 1985 as a Public Relations Account Executive. Then, Corbin came to South Texas to work at Dublin-McCarter, where she eventually established her company in 1995 to offer individual, specialized media and public relations services.
