About Corbin Patten
Corbin believes in improving the built environment one building at a time, and he believes in designing healthier homes, that are true to materials, to simplify lives. Corbin has had a passion for architecture and design since a young age. Whether it was playing with blocks, building forts, or as he get holder drawing and sketching various things he has always had a passion for architecture and design. Growing up Randy, Corbin's father was a contractor and Lena, Corbin's mom ran an interior design and furniture store called HillTop Interiors. Growing up working for the company he was exposed to a lot of building and design in the area and got to visit many of Muskoka's finest homes. After high school, Corbin attended The University of Toronto taking many architecture courses which drove him to the program at George Brown College which he studied Architectural Technology. After graduated George Brown College with an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology, he decided to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Architecture and Masters of Architecture at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) in Southfield, Michigan. Before attending LTU in 2014, Corbin started Corbin Patten Designs. He simultaneously developed his company and studied at LTU for 4 years working on some amazing projects in and out of academia. After graduating he grew his company to design unique homes, cottages, and boathouses in the Muskoka area and beyond. He is am passionate about designing unique sustainable homes and cottages in the Muskoka area and beyond. Where ever there is a unique challenge, Corbin wants to take it on.
