Corbin Robinson is a Newell Brands at Newell Brands. He possess expertise in supply chain management, inventory management, procurement, lean manufacturing, logistics and 48 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "It’s rare that you come across an individual that can equally provide a high level strategy vision while also being tirelessly persistent in driving the team towards the end goal. I had the pleasure of working with Corbin on multiple semester-long team projects during our time at UT’s MBA program, and that is precisely how I would describe him as a teammate. His business acumen is only second to his natural reaction and ability to step up and lead in instances where a leaded is needed but not specifically designated. I was particularly impressed by Corbin’s ability to influence team decisions and direction while also able to keep the team environment lighthearted. As a member or a leader, I’m confident Corbin would be an asset to any team. Corbin exemplifies the added value of maintaining communication and staying connected with me as a colleague and friend, it really shows his character to be genuine and trustworthy." and "I have known Corbin since he transferred to the University of Tennessee and received an undergraduate degree with a major in logistics. Excellent student is one way that I would describe Corbin's undergraduate studies. Hard working, focused and dedicated help sum up his academic pursuits. Upon graduation, Corbin stayed engaged with the college and participated in an alumni mentor program for first-year business students. Corbin worked with 5 students to introduce them to what supply chain management would look like as a career upon graduation. Again, Corbin went above and beyond to afford the students the best experience possible and learn more about their potential futures in SCM. Corbin was a great student, but he didn't stop there. He came back and helped impact the pursuits of the future business leaders in the college."

Procurement & Supply Chain CoordinatorTechmer Pm Jun 2013 - Aug 2015Clinton, Tn, UsIn this role, I served in a multifaceted capacity managing the sourcing strategy/budget for multiple manufacturing sites, leading supply chain process improvement initiatives across the enterprise, and consulting internal personnel during changes of company supply chain technologies. I directly owned the responsibility of strategically sourcing the entire portfolio of production raw-materials for manufacturing sites in Georgia and Kansas, a budget of ~$10M in annual direct spend, including everything from multi-million dollar petro-chemical/plastic resin contracts to one-off buys of a specialty pigment or additive. Working closely with manufacturing mangers at both sites, I was able to develop more accurate forecasting than had previously been achieved resulting in higher inventory turns and ultimately lower inventory levels overall.Along with my strategic sourcing responsibilities, I led multiple enterprise wide supply chain process-improvement projects resulting in cost savings, inventory reductions, on-time shipment improvements, and vendor complexity reduction. Results of some of these projects were:• 20% YOY increase of on-time shipments from implementation of raw material Kanban system• 17% reduction of raw material inventory from better utilizing existing WMS technology • $80,000 annual savings and reduced vendor complexity from enterprise wide RFP of MRO/PPE supplies Furthermore, I served as an internal consultant working with new employees to get them up to speed on company ERP, WMS (Warehouse Management System), and IT systems. I was also on the ‘ramp-up’ consulting team that would perform on-site consultations with employees at newly acquired manufacturing facilities training them on company procedures and on the systems outlined above.I also served in a de facto capacity as the supply chain manager for our smaller sister company, Techmer Engineer Solutions, managing strategic sourcing, inventory management, and import/export logistics. -
