Supports the HWO department by:- Delivers technical WO programs for HPHT wells and H2S environment.- Design HPHT completion programs and sour services environment - Design and supervising of slim hole side tracks with tie-in from 51/2” casing- Supervision of complex programs, drilling side-tracks, fishing operations, recompletions.- Prepare and update HWO sequence on RigView platform- Tracking the cost and daily activities on Open Wells software- Prepare weekly HWO Low/High lights.– Capture LL from team activity and shear the information in AAR– Ensures that OMV / Petrom HSSE policy and procedures are complied

Supports a Well Delivery by:- Delivers well objectives, pursues well time & cost reduction through engineering excellence, champions continuous improvement, reduces NPT, hold responsibility for well integrity, establishing engineering guidelines, performing of pre-operations planning, reporting regarding well construction and technology and process application, and provides drilling project related services to Assets (Cost engineering, technical contracting expertise, etc.Planning and forecasting:– Define, establish and champion company standards and procedures for drilling in compliance with OMV / Petrom's HSSE standards and guidelines– Ensures understanding, application and quality of Well Data Pack (WDP) drilling processes incl. proposals for improvements– Contributes to drilling feasibility studies for new developments– Replies to any request for information from Petrom or OMV concerning the data and lessons learned for planning and strategic development in drilling field– Nominates drilling and services contracts - coordinates contact with 3rd party engineering services– Plans drilling projects and drilling campaigns in cooperation with Field Clusters– Provides detailed department duration and budget data– Ensures all well plans are completed 4 weeks before spud including issue of final well program– Verifies well information– Provide WRB and AAR presentation– Capture LL from team activity and shear the information in AAR– Coordinates evaluation of contractor performance (KPI’s)- Elaborate SOW for OCTG and TRS (tubular running services, liner hangers, casing drilling, hammering services) – Coordinates identification of improvement levers– Ensures that OMV / Petrom HSSE policy and procedures are complied- Identifying services and personnel required for the execution on the drilling program- Liaises with Subsurface and Production teams by providing drilling related input for Concept

Prepares Drilling Bits program as:- Review of preview wells drilled- Analyze the formations characteristics using DBOS Software (unconfined compressive strength) - Analyze the dynamic bit behavior in conjunction with BHA’s (lateral, axial and torsional vibrations-IDEA Software)- Propose the Bit Program for clients- Monitor the Bit performance while drilling and adjust drilling parameters if necessary- Analyze dull after POOH the bit- Prepare presentations for after action review and pre-spud meetings- Prepare presentations for quaternary KPI’s meeting

Supports a Well Delivery Team by:- Preparation of drilling programs and input to drilling sequence- Forecasting all drilling materials required- Identifying services and personnel required for the execution on the drilling programLiaises with Subsurface and Production teams by providing drilling related input for Concept Selection and Field Development Plan as formulated in Well Data Packs;Prepares input for the presentations of drilling locations based on no. of drilling slots, rig type/size, well depth – trajectory and any environmental factors.Prepares casing design , drilling fluids and cement program as:- Review of preview wells drilled- Well trajectory- Geological information- Protection of fresh water aquifers- Hydrocarbon distribution- Pore pressure, geo-mechanical properties and rock strength- Zonal isolation requirements- Completion type and size- Artificial lift requirements Evaluates and implements drilling techniques and methodologies with the aim to:- Reach the set well objectives- Drill and case off wells faster- Improve productivity and recovery- Reduce non-productive time

- Building and maintaining fluids on rig site; - Performing recaps, inventorying products and costs, re-ordering and re-stocking needed materials and chemicals;- Providing technical support and good level of communication with M-I SWACO customers;Onsite drilling / completion fluids maintenance;- Running on daily basis, at well location, with the proper laboratory kits, all the tests for the drilling fluid, according to the A.P.I. standards;- Issuing daily reports for the Beneficiary and Drilling Contractor, as required;- Determining, recommending and coordinating the necessary treatments for fluid maintenance within the design parameters; - Acting according with local and internal QHSE rules;- Providing computerized consulting regarding the fluid hydraulics (rheological features, pressure drops etc.), daily variation of fluid parameters, chemical consumption and costs recorded over the entire duration of the operations;- Respond to variation in mud condition in a timely and professional manner in consultation with the company representative;- Monitor mud consumption and respond to down hole mud losses in a timely manner;- Conduct Well Location pilot testing for unusual mud treatments, or as required or directed by Company Well Location supervisory staff, to avoid unsuitable or potentially damaging or incompatible additions to the circulating system;- Proactive engineering of the drilling fluid system
