Though, started my career in the legal environment but has always had passion for information technology. I am an experienced SQL Server database administrator with over 5 years' experience. I have configured and installed different versions & Editions of Microsoft SQL Server ranging from SQL Server 2012 through 2019 both in standalone and clustered environments. I manage databases and implement security in my current environment. I am tasked with ensuring that my servers are performing optimally. I have set up good HADR solutions and ensure I keep myself within the confine of the company's service level agreement. I understand the importance of documentation in my environment and ensure all processes are adequately documented. A result-oriented individual who is focus on team spirit and company's growth. My experience spans from SQL Server Installation and Configuration, Security, Database migration, Performance Tuning and Monitoring, Upgrade and Patching, High Availability and Disaster Recovery Solutions. I have a good understanding of virtualization, with both Hyper-V and VMWare.
