I have attended placements through InterCare Institute at Chronos Care Ranelagh Gardens and have completed 280 hours of placement up to date.During my placements: I had given care for cognitive impaired clients and provided them with basic personal care and assisted them with their ADL’s. Worked and cared for clients with heart disease, stroke, cognitive impairment, Dementia (High care clients), informing the RN's of vital signs or changes for observations. Capable of giving care to 5 clients per shift and had an opportunity to be a companion, support and assist with feeding. Assisted with Food Services and Christmas preparations of gifts and decors in the facility.I had an opportunity to observe and work with clients that suffer mental issues and also assess them. I am skilled at taking observations, caring for the elderly, organized with the ability of time management, teamwork and consistently meet deadlines and I have the initiative to learn and excel.In this Job some of the responsibilities includes: Patient care, Assistance in Daily Living, Assessing Vital Signs, Assistance in fun Activities/welbeing.I am working as a casual Personal Care Assistant with Symmetry HR Agency. I have also gained experience through my placements and workplace while working for friends aged & dementia parents.I have recently registered myself with ACU (Australian Catholic University) Melbourne. I will be continuing my studies at ACU to pursue a career as a Div 1 Registered Nurse. It has always been my desire, ambition and passion to work in the Health Industry and finally graduate in whole Child Pediatrics specializes in pediatric medicine for a child's physical, emotional and developmental health.Please wish me luck!!
