I am Ph.D. Physicist and managing director of B-SENS since February 2022. Since its creation in 2016, B-SENS has been designing and developing multipoint temperature, strain and gas sensors using telecommunication fiber optics. These sensors, based on Bragg grating technology, meet the requirements of the industrial world, enabling reliable real-time monitoring of industrial assets, minimizing downtime and unforeseen problems. (🌐 www.b-sens.be)During my PhD, my research activities focused on the optical properties of plasmonic nanocomposites made up of metal nanoparticles embedded in a dielectric matrix using conventional spectroscopic ellipsometry and imaging spectroscopic ellipsometry (2020). After the PhD, I joined the B-SENS team as an R&D engineer working on various subsidized projects (2020). Since February 2022, I've become the company's Managing Director, which allows me to be even more involved in the company's various strategic choices and commercial challenges
