I partnered with their HR team to ensure all policies and guidelines were effective under the Canadian Employment and Human Rights laws and legislations. As well, I worked with the onsite management with the hiring of 40 staff in one month to open the site while implementing daily HR requirements. Ie payroll system.

Hr ConsultantSoftchoice (Previous Client) Dec 2007 - May 2008Project based: Public Company; 501-1000 employees; Information Technology and Services industry My services were project based: Acquisition, a Canadian company acquired a Denver based company. As the HR Project Manager my role was to lead the internal HR team located in Toronto and the HR team located in Denver through all steps of the acquisition. I acted as the main liaison for all external parties, ie. Brokers, insurance companies, throughout the completion of the project. A second project with Softchoice was I completed a compensation analysis for 250 distinctive positions throughout all of North America. Final presentation was a recommendation on the structure of new roles organization wide and the relevant compensation package to support each role. Both projects were completed on time and within budget.
