Gopher State Ice is the ice provider of the Minnesota State Fair. We have been operating on grounds for the past 39 years with a mind set geared towards excellent service and maintaining great personal relationships with our clients. I deal with day to day operations including merchandiser maintenance, sales, consumer relations, scheduling, truck driving, and ice deliveries as well as overseeing our refrigerated and frozen storage. Supplying the Fair grounds with ice over the course of the Fair is not an easy job, but I would not love it as much as I do if it were easy. I love hard work, overcoming obstacles and relying on my own abilities as well as that of my brothers to complete a job with customer satisfaction. Each Fair offers unique challenges every year and I look forward to dealing with them the best way I know how because that is what keeps the job interesting and fun.

I am the Director of New Business Development at the Nicollet Island Inn. My job is to promote our private dinning, special events department and elegant 24 room inn. The inn is a 30 year historic property that offers various types of unique social and corporate dinning rooms that range from private dinning with the ability to host 8-24 people, and two special event rooms with a maximum capacity of 125 people.Our Managers and staff are as passionate about customer service as I am.
