I am a graduate of Delta State University. I entered the fire service in 2014 and I'm currently a captain at the Richland Fire Department and the departments training officer. Additionally, in 2020 I started teaching fire science at Richland High School. A class that trains and prepares individuals to enter the fire service and other first responder careers. This opportunity helped me to also obtain two part-time jobs as a methods instructor for Mississippi State University's Research and Curriculum Unit where I train new and experienced fire science instructors across the state, and a tankerman fire fighting class instructor at Hinds Community College in Vicksburg.
