Corey Alexander is an experienced business leader with a proven background in implementing and leading new business development efforts and identifying creative, growth-focused, strategies for established and mid-sized companies. Throughout his career, Corey has led business operations and finance strategies, created strong organizational cultures, and managed all aspects of HR and talent acquisition within healthcare, non-profit, and sports organizations. Currently, Corey is a Regional Operations Director with Davita Kidney Care in New York City. Leading 12 clinics, 100+ team members, and more than 750 patients. Before Davita, Corey served as President and COO for Ross Health Group, one of the largest minority-owned mental health firms nationwide. Corey led Ross Health and contributed to the organization's growth from a $700,000 operation to a $9.7 million company within six years. In addition to his work at Davita Kidney Care, Corey is the Founder and Executive Director for College Bound Athletics. Since 2013, Corey has supported over 200 student-athletes to grow personally, academically, and athletically and has successfully secured over $400 million in college scholarship aid.With his career start in talent acquisition and recruiting, Corey brings a passion and knowledge for developing and retaining top talent in his current executive leadership roles. Corey leads with an impact-focused, servant, and transformational leadership style and his skills as a team player and collaborator. Corey is passionate about empowering his teams to leverage their expertise and skills to achieve the company and their personal goals. A former two-sport, collegiate athlete, Corey brings this same dedication, passion, and commitment to his professional career today. Outside of his current roles, Corey is a Commissioned Officer Candidate in the US Army National Guard. He additionally serves as a Board Member for Doing Good TV, Frist Art Museum, and College Bound Athletics Foundation, the non-profit arm of College Bound Athletics. Corey enjoys bringing his business and financial acumen to advise organizations and support their long-term growth and development. Corey’s professional experience is complemented by his Doctor of Education in Leadership and Professional Practice (ABD). In addition, Corey holds an MBA with a specialization in Leadership and Finance and a B.A. in Political Science. In 2018, Corey was recognized in Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 and was awarded Nashville Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2022.
