Also, in light of COVID-19, all staff members would participate in a daily deep and thorough cleaning of the entire facility and all equipment.

Starting as a Bud Tender, my responsibilities were learning about products, educating customers on product benefits, and quick and efficient cash handling. Moving up into the display department, I helped to keep all of our edible and accessory display cases eye-catching, fresh, and exciting. From there I moved up to Floor Captain, which was part floor/shift lead, part inventory control. During my last year with the company, I also helped to open their new Denver Highlands location. An experience I am still extremely thankful to have been a part of.

Starting as a compliance officer, I was responsible for creating, verifying, and accurately printing compliance (batch) labels for all medicated products. After some company restructuring, compliance was dissolved into the production kitchen, where I got to learn the basic functions inside of a production kitchen, as well as how to make and medicate all products. After yet another restructure, I was moved into logistics for my attention to detail and time management skills. I was incredibly grateful to learn so much from one spot.

Starting as a Bud Tender, my responsibilities included learning about new and exciting products, and educating my customers on their potential benefits. I also had the opportunity to be on the forefront of new industry developments, from laws and regulations to companies and products. Over time, I moved not only to their 'Call Ahead' line, but also their processing department, where I was responsible for trimming, weighing and packaging of product. A wonderful first step on my journey into the cannabis industry, and one that opened the door for so many more opportunities.

Starting as a sales associate, I was responsible for assisting customers find the product to meet their needs, quick and efficient stocking of new products daily, and maintaining a neat and orderly sales floor, including display beds and towels. After some time, I was moved up to Bridal (Registry) Consultant, where I assisted customers in building up their registries, depending on their needs. They empowered me with one of the most detailed and thorough training periods I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I am still extremely appreciative for all of the knowledge, and confidence in service they instilled in me.

A small, independently run tourist shop inside a cruise ship port in New Orleans. I was responsible for assisting with tourism resources, cash handling, and inventory control. I was also in charge of visual merchandising for our 'Featuring' table, which featured varying product lines from local artists and vendors. Definitely one of my favorite spots to have worked, for it's small staff, amazing location, and cute, quirky vibe.
