I have more than 18 years of experience serving clients in the investment services, private equity, and insurance industries.I serve investment services, private equity and insurance accounts by performing a wide range of services including tax compliance, tax consulting, and tax provision review. Examples include:— I lead tax compliance engagements for large clients in the asset management and private equity industry. My responsibilities include: overseeing the preparation and timely filing of federal, state and local income tax returns, coordinating transmission of investor information, and advising on issues related to foreign filings.— I advise clients on various tax matters from internal revenue service and state tax examinations to tax exposure matters in the financial statements.— I advise clients on transactions involving the merger and/or acquisition, disposition, and restructuring of assets.— I also lead International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory tax provision reviews for several public clients in the insurance industry.
