In this internship, I got the opportunity to serve at LCBC Lancaster City Campus in 4 main areas approximately 14 hours a week. Student Ministry, Next Steps, KidMinistry, and playing drums on the worship team. Every week looks different in the amount of time I spend in each area of ministry.

Greeting each customer with a smile, as well as assisting them with whatever they need. This includes answering questions about product sizes, colors, quantities, and availability of clothing being sold. Cashiering was also required as a sales associate. Finally, when closing, inventory was counted to help with sales accuracy for the next day. Also, there was a transition for the store from one location to another, lifting and driving many boxes was a large part of the job.

Residency summer internship at First Baptist Church of Altoona, a small church located in the heart of the Altoona, PA. I created social media(facebook and instagram) for the church as well as a functional, modern website. I also started an online giving program for the church. Along with all of that, I taught the current staff how to maintain the website and social media and keep them updated. All summer I was mentored by the Senior Pastor of the church, and was given the opportunity to go on home visits with him. I also taught at various Bible studies and church events including VBS, and Sunday evening services.
