As Assistant Chief Photographer, trains and guides WNEP-TV Photojournalists and Multi-Skilled Journalists to create quality content by sharpening storytelling skills. Also, works on many Special Projects, Investigative Series, news of the day, and Aerial Videography as the WNEP Drone Champion.

-Worked with Newsroom staff to gather news of the day (accidents, fires, political events, sports, etc.)-Coordinated video elements for various newscasts, which included editing to loading tapes that aired live during newscasts.-Edited with Linear (Beta tape to tape), Non-Linear (Aurora Grass Valley & Final Cut Pro 7) platforms.-Operated various ENG Live Trucks to cover live events including 2 Ku band Satellite trucks using the ABSAT and Clear Channel satellites.-Some training with Skycam 16 Helicopter camera equipment.-A few big events included 4 Penn State Bowl games (Orange, Rose, Capitol One and Outback).-One of the core group HD Transition Team Leaders that helped train staff and implement HD equipment for station upgrade from Standard Definition to High Definition using the Sony XDCAM EX 720p format in 2010-2011.

Assisted the WNEP Production Dept. with the inner workings of various live newscasts from camera operator, audio tech., and graphics.

When the Penn State Athletic Department decided to upgrade Beaver Stadium with new seating and two massive video scoreboards, it needed staff help deliver live content. I decided to volunteer and became one of the first to join the broadcast team in 1999 under the direction of Jim Nachtman, director of video operations.I played the role of production assistant and had the chance to take part in the set up and production of Penn State football and basketball games over the course of three years. Various duties included everything from camera operator, technical director, video replay operator, and grip.
