Technical Product Owner
CurrentAs a Technical Product Owner at KCF, I am responsible for ensuring that our products provide inarguable value to our end-users. Our product offering is a B2B machine health platform which includes services, hardware, web-based software, and edge software products. To achieve my purpose, I focus on the following things in my role:- Define product requirements based on interactions with stakeholders and customers. This includes customer research sessions, polls, and direct feedback from internal stakeholders.- Use product analytics data to inform changes and improvements to features and functionality. We utilize Pendo as a product analytics tool to measure usage of pages and features within our web application. I spend a lot of time analyzing this data and generating insights to be used for future product development decisions. This data is invaluable for understanding user behavior and what users find truly useful.- Manage development projects throughout discovery, planning, build, and go-to-market phases. In a relatively small organization, the Technical Product Owner often has to wear many hats. For me, this means championing the discovery phase for new projects, writing requirements, leading refinements, and helping to guide go-to-market for new products or updated features within a large product. I have had the chance to do this for frontend web features, backend services, external integrations and edge applications.
