Built baseline schedules and updated schedules with the project teams on a bi-weekly basis. I helped the project teams maintain the use of pull planning, which is a tool used to pull construction activities back to earlier dates. I walked the job sites and documented the progress with photos to be certain the schedule matched the status of the job. I maintained detailed project overview reports summarizing any difficulties, issues and/or design changes that were occurring on site, as well as helping to create a plan to accommodate these changes while not pushing the schedule completion date. I helped the Atlanta Division Preconstruction team with takeoff analysis (using On-Screen Takeoff), reaching out to subcontractors for bidding, creating scope sheets to be sure there were no scope gaps or doubling of scopes across multiple subcontractors. The projects I was a part of ranged from preliminary SD budgets, to detailed GMP's using construction documents. I was in charge of scopes ranging throughout the divisions varying across each project. The organization needed to maintain subcontractor interaction and relationships across multiple jobs bidding at once was extremely useful. The main project I was a part of from the schematic design phase through 3 sets of pricing including final GMP and value engineering was Alta Midtown (33 Peachtree Place). The interaction with the subcontractors, architects, engineers and developers was eye-opening and very beneficial for understanding all that goes into starting a project.

I worked with the scheduling manager to maintain project schedule updates using Primavera P6, as well as pull planning. I was also a key part in creating preconstruction and preliminary/bid schedules for new projects. I was a part of the preconstruction bidding for the Mellow Mushroom up-fit in uptown Charlotte. I helped create the baseline schedule and the first couple updates for the MetLife upfit in Ballantyne.I spent 4+ weeks working on the Charlotte School of Law 13 story up-fit in uptown Charlotte. This work had to be done at night in order to keep the building fully functional for the other tenants. During this time, I walked with the General Superintendent and made sure the schedule was being utilized and enforced.
